Hello again :) 'Fraid today's is going to be a massively picture-heavy post!
Last night I was lucky enough to go to a fashion show in aid of a charity called Shooting Star Chase. Shooting Star Chase is a children's hospice service which supports families with children who are not expected to reach their 19th birthday. Definitely a worthy cause which you can read more about
here.
The clothes for the show were donated from places like Topshop, French Connection, ASOS and Joules, as well as from local independent stores, and the make up for the models was mainly donated from Benefit and Boots.
The show started with a short film about the Shooting Star Chase which pretty much had the whole audience tearing up (or maybe it was just me.. I get very emotional!) and emptying their purses for the charity!
During the first half the outfits were mainly focused towards daywear, with a few exceptions, and the theme was very vintagey and equestrian. The second half had more of a glam-rock vibe and was more veered towards evening wear. The hair and make up throughout was amazing and the models all looked gorgeous!
Unfortuately, I was only able to bring my rubbish camera which decided to throw a tantrum and break on me half way through (thankfully I got it working again), so the photos aren't the best quality.. but i've done my best with what I managed to get so I hope you like them anyway!
